Call for Volunteers
Each year Dusk Dances produces a series of outdoor dance events in public parks. The show features an array of choreographic works presented nightly at sunset. Choreographers from various backgrounds are programmed to perform ten-minute pieces inspired by the parks natural environment. As dusk descends, a theatrical host leads the audience to five dances that unfold in different areas of the park.
What’s the job?. Dusk Dances is looking for 8 volunteers for each performance nights, and 4 for the dress rehearsals. Plus on-call volunteers for rain dates!
What will I do?. Positions include info table, dressing room security, site security, and ushers. Volunteer duties also include program stuffing, helping to move the audience from site to site, and nightly set-up/tear down of info table, banners and signs.
When. Please see our SEASON for all events dates and locations
The opening band starts at 7pm and the show begins at 7:30pm. Volunteers are required at the park at 5:00pm till no later than 9:30pm.
Who to contact. If interested please email Harveen Sandhu at volunteer@duskdances.ca
