Annasofie 诗慧 Jakobsen

Production & Stage Manager

Annasofie is a production and stage manager based in Toronto and she is thrilled to be back in the park with all her Dusk Dances bffs!! She hopes you enjoy the show!

Recent credits include Ophis (TransenDance Project), Never Walk Alone (Buddies/PNSNV/Fugen), Monks (The Theatre Centre) and Are You The One (xLq/Downstage). Catch her at this very park in a few weeks production managing Tiffn'y of Athens with Shakespeare In The Ruff :)

Bella Szpala

Assistant Stage Manager

Bella Szpala (she/her) is a theatre artists who loves managing stages (and also parks). She is so excited to be working in Withrow with Dusk Dances again this summer! Bella has worked as a stage manager on shows with Vanguardia Dance Projects, TheatreTO, Three Ships Collective, at various festivals, and other indie ventures. She hopes you have a beautiful time in the park with us!

Chin Palipane

Technician & Lx Assistant

Chin Palipane (he/him) is a Toronto-based Theatre Artist, Technician, and Lighting Designer. He is a proud member of Coyote Collective and the TD of The Assembly Theatre. He is thrilled to work with Dusk Dances again and catch some sun while assisting with the execution of LxD Emerson's fantastic designs! A nocturnal being himself, he identifies with the moniker of Night Owl (even though most owls are inherently active at night OR are crepuscular-active during Dawn and Dusk. In defence of semantics, a few rare owls are diurnal-active during the day). He hopes you enjoy the performances!

Emerson Kafarowski

Lighting Designer

Emerson Kafarowski (she/they) is a Lighting Designer and multidisciplinary artist based in Tkaronto, Canada. In addition to Lighting Design, she is a skilled ETC Lighting Programmer, as well as a touring Technical Director, travelling with companies across Canada, The U.S.A, and Europe. In her spare time, Emerson enjoys thrifting and curb shopping to find old, broken or discarded items that they can take apart, repair, Or repurpose into something new.

Remington North

Technical Director

Remington North is a Toronto-based Technical Director and Production Manager with nearly 20 years of experience in Canadian Theatre. He approaches his work through the lens of facilitation, drawn from the Latin facile—to make things easier—striving to support artists by reducing friction in the creative process. Remington has collaborated with a wide range of companies including Tapestry Opera, Against the Grain, Necessary Angel, Crow’s Theatre, Volcano Theatre, YES! Theatre, and Why Not Theatre. With a deep respect for the technical labour that underpins performance, he works to honour both the work and the spaces that hold it.
